SAMY G S
Dr. G. S. Samy and Mr. C. Jayabalam from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, along with Capt. Karunanidhi, M. Thilshath, and K. Balasubramani from GME, recently visited Chennai Port with 15 students from the Mechanical and GME departments. During the visit, we had the opportunity to explore an Indian Naval Ship, where our students interacted with the ship's captain and gained valuable insights into the functions of a naval vessel. The visit included learning about the Deck and Bridge operations, Port Traffic management, a tour of the Pollution Control Base, and a boat ride around the harbor. We extend our sincere gratitude to our management for their continuous support in organizing this event.
