Burdwan Medical College is a public hospital and medical research institute located in the town of Burdwan, Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal. Burdwan Medical College was established in 1910 by Governor of Bengal and was undertaken by the University of Burdwan in 1969 as Burdwan University Medical College. Later it was taken over by the government of West Bengal on 4 August 1976, and rechristened Burdwan Medical College. The campus is spread over approximately 253 acres Burdwan Medical College also offers excellent healthcare services through its associated hospital. The hospital has a capacity of 750 beds and provides specialized medical services in areas like cardiology, neurology, oncology, and pediatrics, among others.(copy)
It's one of best medicine institute in West Bengal. Big area, good infrastructure, high quality teachers.
All curable health problems can be cured here but you have to keep patience. But all doctors behaviour are not good, they didn't behave properly. If you admit in emergency department you get treatment rapidly otherwise you visit outdoor for any deasise the doctors prescribe for tests but the hospital department will do the test after one month. So that they have to go private medical center for the test. Thus the poor people are suffered.
