Burdwan Medical College was established in 1910 by Governor of Bengal and was undertaken by the University of Burdwan in 1969 as Burdwan University Medical College. Later it was taken over by the government of West Bengal on 4 August 1976, and rechristened Burdwan Medical College. If you admit in emergency department you get treatment rapidly otherwise you visit outdoor for any deasise the doctors prescribe for tests but the hospital department will do the test after one month. So that they have to go private medical center for the test. Thus the poor people are suffered.
