The Chembai Memorial Music College is situated adjacent to the main road at Tharekad very near to PWD rest house.I had worked in Palakad Town continuously for seven years and every other day my patrolling would be through the front of this College and I myself have a nostalgic feeling when I think of this College. Whenever I happen to pass through this place I could hear the recitation of musical notes by the students of this College. This College is named after the Great Chembai Vydhyanath Bhagavathar and the staff and students are maintaining the tempo and are keeping the good name of the College .I love this place very much.
