The University is student friendly and is located at a beautiful hillock. I spoke to some of the students in the hostel and the overall feedback was positive. There are at least 3000 students currently pursuing various courses and the faculty of Engineering is the oldest in the state as the Engineering college existed since 1999. Due to political conspiracy, the University suffered for two years. However the high court and later the Supreme Court gave clean chit to the University.
