Merit Scholarship to SC/ST/OBC/Minority students (Government of NCT of Delhi)
Students should not have less than 60% marks in previous academic year. Family income ceiling for OBC and Minority students is Rs. 2.00 Lakh Per annum. Family income is not applicable for SC/ST students. Applicant from minority communities must be a resident of Delhi for the past three years. Students receiving stipends from institutions/government are also eligible. Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) issued by SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), GNCTD, or Domicile Certificate of Delhi (for SC if caste certificate not from GNCTD) is required. Declaration by parent/guardian for minority students is required. Affidavit for gap up to 3 years is required.
Varies by course group and hosteller/day scholar status. For Group A (Hosteller Rs. 1620 per month (for 12 Months) for degree, Rs. 1860 per month (for 12 Months) for post-graduate; Day Scholar Rs. 900 per month (for 12 Months) for degree, Rs. 960 per month (for 12 Months) for post-graduate. For Group B ( Hosteller Rs. 1110 per month (for 12 Months), Day Scholar Rs. 720 per month (for 12 Months). For Group C (Hosteller Rs. 930 per month (for 12 Months), Day Scholar Rs. 630 per month (for 12 Months). For Group D (Hosteller Rs. 804 per month (for 12 Months), Day Scholar Rs. 420 per month (for 12 Months).
Apply online through the E-District Delhi Portal. Applications for the academic year 2025-26 are invited from October 31, 2025, with a last date of March 31, 2026.
Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students (Centrally Sponsored Scheme)
Available to all OBC students whose parents/guardians income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1 Lakh per annum. Students must be pursuing post matriculation/post secondary (college/university) level studies in Govt. Recognized institutions within India. All children of the same family/parents are eligible subject to the income limit. Students availing any other scholarship/stipend are not eligible. Caste certificate issued by Govt. of NCT of Delhi and income certificate issued from the office of SDM of Delhi (valid on the date of submission of application) are required.
Total financial assistance is capped at Rs. 30,000 per annum for hostellers and Rs. 25,000 per annum for day scholars.

Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students (Centrally Sponsored Scheme)

For Group I (Hosteller Rs. 1200 per month, Day Scholar Rs. 550 per month). For Group II (Hosteller Rs. 820 per month.)
