Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, also known as DBRAIT, is a prominent government technical institution situated in Port Blair, South Andamans. With a rich legacy dating back to its establishment in 1984 as a government polytechnic, it was upgraded and renamed in 2010 with the introduction of degree programs. The institute is affiliated with Pondicherry University for its degree offerings and the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) for its diploma programs, ensuring its curriculum aligns with recognized standards. The institute is set on a spacious campus spanning 46.8 acres in Old Pahargaon, providing an environment conducive to learning and growth.
