Faculty of Law, University of Delhi Scholarships and Financial Aid

The Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, offers direct financial support through a specific fee waiver for its Applied Animal Advocacy Certificate Program. Students at the Faculty are also eligible for various comprehensive scholarships provided by the Government of NCT of Delhi. These state government schemes, including merit-based and post-matric scholarships for SC, ST, OBC, and Minority categories, offer maintenance allowances and fee reimbursements, ensuring financial assistance for students pursuing legal education at the university level.

Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees (up to Rs. 20,000 per annum or actual, whichever is less). Study tour charges, thesis typing/printing charges for Research Scholars, book allowance for correspondence courses, book bank facility for specified courses, additional allowance for students with disabilities. Total financial assistance capped at Rs. 30,000 per annum for hostellers and Rs. 25,000 per annum for day scholars.Online through E-District Delhi Portal. Merit Scholarship to SC/ST/OBC/Minority students (Government of NCT of Delhi)SC/ST/OBC/Minority students. Must obtain 60% or more marks in previous examination and get admission in a recognized college/professional/technical institution. Family income ceiling for OBC and Minority students is Rs. 2.00 Lakh Per annum. No family income limit for SC/ST students. Applicant from minority communities must be a resident of Delhi for the past three years. Students receiving stipends from institutions/government are also eligible. Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) issued by SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), GNCTD, or Domicile Certificate of Delhi (for SC if caste certificate not from GNCTD) is required. Declaration by parent/guardian for minority students is required. Affidavit for gap up to 3 years is required. Law courses are covered under Group C.For Law (Group C): Hosteller Rs. 930 per month (for 12 Months), Day Scholar Rs. 630 per month (for 12 Months). Scholarship rate reduced to 50% if student fails in annual examination, with exceptions for medical grounds, natural calamities, or reasons beyond control.Online through E-District Delhi Portal.
