The esteemed College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry is under the Birsa Agricultural University. It provides the degree Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry to the students after a rigorous 5.5 years long educational course. The climate at kanke is usually extreme cold, especially in the winters. The college also includes many farms such as goat & sheep farm, poultry farm, dairy farm and pig farm for educational purposes. The TVCC is where clinical practice is conducted. Professors at this institution are highly skilled and trained towards their duty.
