Student Reviews & TestimonialsRam Yadav 4 Guwahati medical college is one of best government medical Center in assam . All over state people came in this hospital. It settle in big place. In my experience I visited here few month ago I found better treatment here. You also find near pharmacy and hotel. BEST THING IS HERE FOODING AND LODDING FACILITIES IS ONLY 150 RS PER DAY FOR ATTENDENT. Pooja Karmakar 1 This hospital is not good at all it’s very unhygienic. There’s a high chance of patients getting infections, and even if there is a positive patient, they keep them with normal patients. The nurses are rude all the time, and even when the doctor gives a date for treatment, they don’t treat the patient on that date either. The bedsheets are extremely dirty, and the bathroom is the worst. My story is this – I’m from Tezpur. My father has a 1.6 cm stone in his ureter. The doctor asked us to come on 25th June. Despite reaching early in the morning and being the first, they made us wait until evening, and then told us to come again on the 28th. Today is 28th June, but the same thing happened – they asked us to come on 2nd July. It seems like they can’t even see the patient’s condition or the amount of pain he is in They are not even giving a fixed date.Taking the patient from Tezpur to Guwahati again and again while he is in so much pain has been the worst experience I’ve had with GMCH I hope no one else has to go through this If possible try to arrange some money from your savings or somehow manage to consult a private hospital. This was the worst experience ever. Santosh Chhetri 1 I personally do not recommend this hospital to visit with the patients. I have been to this hospital number times and when last time I asked the staff there to help me to approach the doctor but they were so rude to me and didn't allow. I was as polite as possible to them but they were so much careless and rude to me, and now that incident has brought me to the conclusion that the staff there are not as helpful as they are projected, they don't care about anything. They just care about their salary. I think there should be somebody to raise their voice against all these matters and approach the higher authority of the hospital THUNGCHANTHUNG Ezung 1 I am from Nagaland and we went to Aiims Guwahati for my cousin sister check up. After few test , they referred us to GMCH guwahati which was new to us and we had no idea how the hospital is. We have no complaints for the infrastructure or the hospital but let me tell you that the staffs out there are one of the worst staffs i have ever seen in any hospitals i have been. They are so rude. Its okay to experience some rudeness but they are on different level. They keep scolding us everytime for no reason. And the scolding is not even normal. My sister cried several times. I didn't mention the nurse not taking proper care of the patients etc etc because everyone knows how bad it is. I'm only here to let everyone from my state know about the rudeness of the staffs out there and better not go there if there's an option. NOT AT ALL.
