One among the oldest fine arts college in Kerala, even old chief minister K.Karunakaran studied here. Now affiliated under university of Calicut conducting BFA courses with three optional specialisation Painting, Sculpture and Applied Arts.Very good facilities now.Ample space for Students to practice and work.Very good studio and few teachers are excellent.This is second Fine arts College in Kerala.40 Seat available for BFA Courses.Lot of literature and art related functions and events hosted here.This institution is an iconic and great space in contributing the cultural capital tag to Thrissur in Kerala State History.

Thrissur Government Fine arts college is one of the three Finearts colleges in kerala. We were spend half of a day there , for my brother's admission process. We can see many artistic works here. Sculptures, modern Arts. Etc... Sculptures on Clay, Metals, Woods, Stones, plastics. Calm and Cool ambiance. Staffs and management are very supportive and helpful.
