This is the youngest (as on 2018) Government Medical College in State of Tamil Nadu. The College was opened in 2017. All the buildings are new. There is an Outpatient Block, inpatient Block, Administrative Block, Faculty Block, Lecture Halls, Separate Hostels for Boys and Girls all in brand new condition. The Hallmark of the College would be the library, which has three floors and Four Halls in Each Floor One Floor is dedicated to Two Halls (each Hall having 48 computers) for Online Library and Journal Access which is not available even in many Older Medical Colleges Good Luck to Students of Pudukottai Medical College

Neat and big hospital. Staffs are kind and informative. I went there to check on my missing relative. The doctor on duty and the staff nurses in the ER were kind and helped a lot. Also the police officer Mr. Murthy who was on duty explained the procedure and protocols on how the unidentified patients are received and treated in the hospital. He spent his quality time to guide me how to find my missing relative also noted down the details for communication in case he finds him. I sincerely thank all the staff, doctor and the police officer for their help. Real service is showing humanity to the people who need it. I found here.
