Student Reviews & Testimonials
Very nice place for teaching. Best college in Jamnagar.
Completed Diploma in Mechanical engineering in 2017. Finest college in Jamnagar.
My Experience and Recommendations for Diploma Engineering Students (Mechanical Branch) When I was looking for a good diploma engineering college in 2010, the options for researching were quite limited. There were no extensive online reviews or resources like we have today. The best information we could gather came from recommendations by people we knew, such as seniors or acquaintances. Based on what I learned at that time, my top choices were: 1) LD Engineering College, Ahmedabad (My first choice) 2) Government Polytechnic, Rajkot (Second choice) 3) Government Polytechnic, Jamnagar (Third choice) Looking back now, after completing my diploma, I can confidently say that LD Engineering College (LDCE) in Ahmedabad was an excellent choice. One of the biggest advantages of studying there was the frequent campus placement drives, which allowed many students, including myself, to secure jobs directly through campus interviews. Faculty The faculty members were exceptional and played a crucial role in shaping my education and career. Here are some names that I remember fondly for their guidance and support: 1) Galani Sir 2) Gori Sir 3) Mandaliya Sir 4) Gokani Sir 5) Pathan Sir 6) Nikunj Sir 7) Lokwani Sir 8) Akash Sir These professors, along with many others, were always available to provide extra help, clear doubts, and ensure that we understood the concepts well. Their teaching methods and approach to practical knowledge were highly beneficial in preparing us for the industry. Hostel and Living Experience: Although I did not have the experience of staying in the college hostel (I stayed in Patel Vadi/Patel Colony during my diploma), I have heard that the campus provides good hostel facilities. Many of my batchmates stayed on campus, and they seemed satisfied with the living arrangements. Batchmates and Career Outcomes: In our batch, there were about 180 students, and I am happy to report that most of them are doing well in their careers today. Here are some of the paths my batchmates have taken: Some secured jobs during campus placements. Some pursued Direct to Diploma (D2D) into engineering degrees. Several joined Multinational Companies (MNCs). A few entered the Government sector. Some even went on to start their own businesses. One of our batchmates is now a faculty member at GP Jamnagar, giving back to the community. Overall, I feel grateful for my time at GP JAM, the opportunities I had, and the solid foundation it provided for my career. For anyone considering a diploma in mechanical engineering, I would recommend GP JAM, especially if you are looking for good faculty and a solid placement record. Good luck on your journey, and make the most of your time in college – it can set the stage for great opportunities ahead!
3 years of memorable best moments, fun of my life in this college.
