Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College is the only good engineering college in the city Bidar. This college has six courses in the field of engineering, namely mechanical engineering, computer science engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering, information science engineering, civil engineering. The college has wide number of lectures, can say around fifty in an department. Earlier their was automobile engineering course as a result of no admission in the department the branch was closed. Further there is expectations that mechanical engineering department will also close soon. The college fees by government means is too high when compared to management fee. If you any contact inside the college they will reduce the fees of management candidate. Currently the Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College is just can say worst than the school. Even teachers are better in school than college. Guys if you are an book worm this college is for you. Also no student of college is allowed to sit in the college premises, if you sit in any place in the college then the security man i.e. watch man comes and then he asks to go away don't sit here and then he says the senior faculties or say their boss will scold them. I'm gald that if buy mistake you sit in the canteen of the college during the class hours or say when you are buncking the class a group a teachers or lecturers come and then they make a note of the students who are buncking the classes. You can't even try to bunck the class in Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College. Most of the boys in college don't know that there is boys common room which is always locked. The college has experience of forty years buy now. I'm glad that I'm , I was and will be the student of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College. This college has no club till now. Hardly you will find any motivater. The college is also aiming to have NBA and autonomous in future. The is in good hands now and excelling day by day. There have placements of the students who had sgpa above nine pionts around twelve I guess. You can't enter this college without college id card like wise you can enter in most of the colleges. One advice to all the readers engineering don't go for engineering guys. Choose this college only for software branches as taking a view for the future.

This is a NBA and NAC accredited Engineering institution which is more than 4 decades old. All the important Engineering trades like Computer Sciences, Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, I.T, Civil and more are being run. The first batch started in 1980. The institution has very good infrastructure. Liberary is big like university. More than 16 lac INR subscriptions paid every year for journals. MTECH in many branches also running. BTECH to PhD enrollment affiliates to Veshvarya Technological University. College is having lot of senior faculty. Seminar halls and Auditorium available .

It's the only Engineering college in Bidar city which has earned its glamour. College is neatly maintained and staff is friendly.Security guards are always available for safety of students.Security for girl students are taken care very well.Career growth of students from this institute is historic.Professors and lecturers show active intrest in making students life brighter.I would surely recommend this institute for Engineering.
