WARNING: ICFAI Tech Hyderabad – A Factory, Not a UniversityIf you’re considering joining ICFAI Tech Hyderabad, think again. This place parades as a university, but in reality, it’s a glorified high school with a college fee tag. The uniform compulsion here is just the tip of the iceberg — a reflection of the toxic, outdated, and control-obsessed mentality that governs this place.Students are treated like children, not adults. You’re forced to wear uncomfortable, low-quality uniforms every day, regardless of the weather, occasion, or your comfort. It’s humiliating and dehumanizing — especially in an institution that claims to promote “freedom of thought” and “professional development.” Ironically, you’re expected to innovate while being suffocated under a one-size-fits-all policy. What’s worse? The faculty and administration are more focused on enforcing dress codes than on improving the actual quality of education or listening to student concerns. You can get kicked out of class, fined, or even harassed by staff just because you dared to show up in your own clothes. It’s an environment built on fear, not learning. This isn’t a university. It’s a discipline camp disguised as a college, where your individuality is erased and you’re expected to follow blindly. If you’re hoping for a healthy academic culture, supportive faculty, or even basic respect as a young adult — look elsewhere. There are far better institutions in India that treat their students with the maturity and dignity they deserve.Don’t waste your time, money, or sanity. ICFAI Tech Hyderabad is not worth it.One start rating is also not worth the college tbh.

The uniform rule at ICFAI Tech Hyderabad is absolutely ridiculous and completely unnecessary for a university -level institution. Instead of focusing on improving the quality of education, facilities, or placements, they are obsessed with enforcing outdated school-like dress codes. It feels like we are treated like school kids, not young adults preparing for the real world. The uniforms are uncomfortable, low-quality, and completely impractical for Hyderabad's weather. Forget about expressing individuality or dressing appropriately for different activities like lab work, presentations, or casual classes. You are forced into the same bland, suffocating outfit every single day.On top of that, the strictness with which they implement this rule is insane — random uniform checks, warnings, fines — like seriously, do they think this is a military camp? It kills student morale and makes college life miserable instead of enjoyable. In a place that's supposed to nurture innovation, critical thinking, and independence, this kind of micromanagement is embarrassing. ICFAI needs to realize that professionalism comes from within, not from wearing the same ugly shirt and pants every day.If you’re thinking of joining ICFAI Tech Hyderabad, just know you’re signing up for school 2.0 — not a vibrant, mature university experience.
