I recently completed an 11-day digital workshop at the Indian Institute of Craft and Design (IICD) in Jaipur, and it was an absolutely enriching experience. The workshop, organized in collaboration with the Creative Dignity team, was well-structured and provided a deep dive into various aspects of craft and design. The instructors, especially Seema mam, Anvesha mam, and Kimaya mam, were not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly supportive, making complex concepts easy to grasp. Their guidance and encouragement were invaluable, and they created a nurturing environment for all participants. The hands-on sessions were particularly beneficial, allowing us to apply what we learned in real-time. The integration of traditional techniques with modern design principles was a highlight, showcasing the timeless relevance of Indian craftsmanship. Moreover, the Creative Dignity team brought in a wealth of experience and passion, fostering an environment of creativity and innovation. Their commitment to preserving and promoting indigenous crafts was evident throughout the workshop. The interactions with fellow participants were also inspiring, creating a sense of community and shared purpose. Overall, this workshop has significantly broadened my understanding and appreciation of Indian crafts. It has equipped me with new skills and perspectives that I am eager to apply in my own work. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone interested in craft and design. ---
