  • Important Note: IIMA provides comprehensive financial assistance that covers all academic expenses including tuition, computer, library, medical insurance, placement and alumni fees. In addition, a monthly subsistence allowance is provided: ₹42,000/- per month for the first and second years (Slab I), and ₹45,000/- per month after successful completion of the Comprehensive Examination (Slab II). Doctoral students are also eligible for a contingency allowance of ₹35,000/- per year (for up to five years), reimbursement of qualifying expenses up to ₹400,000/- for presenting research papers at international/domestic conferences, reimbursement for fieldwork/data collection up to ₹200,000/-, and a start-up grant of ₹100,000/- for computing equipment.
