This institution is really great as it serves the most important function, imparting life skills: IIM Rohtak is one of the best IIMs among the 2nd generation of IIMs and the only IIM to provide an interdisciplinary program that aims at providing an in-depth knowledge of business management with intricate details of law and governance. Education: The quality of education is world-class. Considering the brand name of IIM to be one of the best colleges in the country for integrated legal & management education and it certainly lives up to that reputation. The curriculum is interesting and has proved useful in practice. This institution's trimesters are demanding but there are plenty of resources to help students, and the administration is sensitive and understanding. Faculty: All faculties here are highly qualified. Here the percentage of foreign faculty is high. During the first year, we are being taught by the faculties from Cambridge University, Bath University, Unity of Cape Town, Trinity Business School and many more. Teachers are good and helpful. As someone who has had special needs in the past, the teachers have been very supportive of them. Infrastructure: Our library and classrooms are world-class industry level, and the campus is spread over a total area of approximately 200 acres. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled with a maximum speed of 1 Gbps. The quality of the food is fine. Sports facilities are excellent as mentioned by honourable prime minister Mr Narendra Modi that it is the only IIM to start a course on sports management in the country. Hostel facilities are good.
This is a premier Institute for Management and Administration. The campus, professors, curriculum, course material, pedagogical techniques, hostels, facilities, etc are all excellent. The teachers take pains and are involved with the students to impart top quality teaching.
Though it's considered a "baby" iim, it's actually huge in campus size and staff (I only interacted with the security) is reasonably helpful. The facade and buildings in general seem pleasent to look at and carry a contemporary touch. Although uninitiated would be hard pressed to guess it for a premier education center of india for its unassuming architecture. These are only the first impressions and an in-depth review will be available as and when I get to interact with the institution
I am a first year student and the journey here so far has been really great. The faculty here are very experienced and are always ready to help the students. The new campus is amazing and the recently constructed student activity center provides all the basic student amenities. IIM Rohtak has also started IPM (Integrated Program in Management) course to train young minds for management course just after higher secondary.
