The campus is the transit campus of IIT Palakkad. The main campus construction is still going on. The buildings are well planned and and built without disturbing the natural topography or in the least way possible. It is literally on the foothills of Western ghats, so, the sloping ground is adopted as a character of the structure. People from outside can not visit without prior permission because of the covid regulations.

It's just a temporary campus of IIT Palakkad inside Ahalia campus. The campus is situated 4-5 kilometres inside from the main road making it a bit inaccessible but the same time calm and more peaceful. The place is covered with greenary on rainy season, but on summer it's way too hot and no green. The temporary campus doesn't have M.Tech and other research oriented branches.
