Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi / IIITD) is a state university established in 2008 through the IIIT Delhi Act of the Delhi Legislature and is located in Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi, Delhi. Created by the Government of NCT of Delhi with a focus on computer science and allied areas, it functions as an autonomous institute with its own Board of Governors and Senate. Admission Process

IIIT Delhi offers admissions to B.Tech through JEE Main + JAC Delhi counselling, as well as its own IIITD process using UCEED rank, Class 12 scores and the Business Blaster scheme. M.Tech and PhD admissions run through IIITD’s online portal using GATE/PG CAT and institute tests with interviews.

IIIT Delhi B.Tech admissions in 2025 through JAC Delhi saw very tight cutoffs for Computer Science–related branches, with CSE and CSAI closing below All India rank 650 in the General category. Delhi (Home State) ranks were higher than Outside Delhi (AI) ranks, and reserved categories had significantly relaxed cutoffs compared to General.
