My Unforgettable Journey to Thailand~ A week in Thailand—a perfect blend of learning, adventure, and memories that will last a lifetime. From networking at trade fairs to getting lost in the streets of Pattaya, every moment was an experience in itself. This trip, my first international one, wasn’t just about exploring a new country; it was about discovering new perspectives, bonding with classmates, and immersing myself in experiences I never imagined I would have. We arrived in Bangkok on February 12th with no fixed itinerary, but our faculty had a beautiful surprise planned—a cruise on the Chao Phraya River. The shimmering skyline, the cool breeze, and the joy of being there with friends set the perfect tone for the days ahead. The next morning, we attended Glassman Asia 2025, where we explored cutting-edge technologies in the glass industry, learning about robotics and the intricate process of glass recycling. Later, at Stamford International University Bangkok, we gained insights into the Thai education system, particularly their MBA courses, and had engaging interactions with the welcoming faculty. The following day, we visited the Thailand Industrial Fair (TIF), Food Pack Asia, and Warehouse Logistics Asia Exhibition, where we got hands-on experience with global industrial trends. From food packaging innovations to robotics and logistics, every booth had something fascinating to offer. The best part? Free samples and massage chairs that melted away our exhaustion in minutes! After three days in Bangkok, we traveled to Pattaya, a city where nature meets nightlife. Before diving into the vibrant city, we first visited the port, where we gained insights into Thailand’s logistics and trade industry. It was fascinating to witness the massive infrastructure that plays a crucial role in the country’s economy. The scale of operations, from cargo handling to shipping routes, gave us a deeper appreciation of global trade networks. One of the most memorable moments was when four of us girls got lost trying to find the beach. With Google Maps as our guide, we wandered through stunning streets, neon-lit shops, and the city’s vibrant night scene. When we finally reached the beach, the peaceful waves and cool night breeze made it all worthwhile. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the Sea Walk at Coral Island. The thought of going 30 feet underwater was terrifying at first, but the second our feet touched the ocean floor, all fear disappeared. The silence, the vibrant fish swimming around us, and the surreal beauty of the underwater world made it an experience beyond words. I wished I could stay there forever. Apart from the sea walk, we also enjoyed jet skiing, the banana ride, and swimming in the ocean, making the day truly unforgettable. Our last full day in Thailand was filled with excitement and a hint of sadness. Our faculty surprised us with a visit to Dreamworld, where we had unlimited access to thrilling rides, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Later, we visited Siam Premium Mall for some last-minute shopping, ensuring we took a piece of Thailand home with us. Then, the reality hit—we had to leave. The excitement of the past week was now replaced with a bittersweet feeling. This trip was not just about exploring new places; it was about stepping out of our comfort zones, bonding with classmates we hadn’t truly known before, and experiencing things we never thought we would. In just one week, Thailand gave me memories that three years of college hadn’t. My first foreign destination will always hold a special place in my heart. This is just the beginning—there are many more adventures to come, but this one will always remain unforgettable.

Our educational trip to Thailand was an incredible journey filled with learning, adventure, and cultural exploration. We began our trip with a train journey from NJP to Howrah, followed by an industrial visit to Vinayak Oil & Fats Pvt. Ltd., where we learned about oil production and packaging. From there, we boarded our flight to Bangkok, eager to explore a new country. In Bangkok, we stayed at Ramada by Wyndham D’MA and explored the nearby markets. A surprise Chao Phraya Princess Cruise on the first night set the tone for an exciting trip. Over the next two days, we visited Stamford University, attended the Glassman Asia 2025 Conference, and explored Food Pack Asia 2025 at BITEC, gaining insights into global industries. Next, we traveled to Pattaya, stopping at Laem Chabang Port for an industrial visit. We explored Pattaya Night Market and indulged in thrilling water sports at Coral Island, including parasailing, scuba walking, and jet skiing. An exciting Go-Karting session added to our adventure. The final day was spent at Dreamland, an amusement park where we enjoyed thrilling rides before heading to a luxury mall in Bangkok. We then flew back to India, concluding a week of unforgettable experiences. This trip taught us teamwork, adaptability, and cultural diversity. A notable difference was how Bangkok’s market vendors were often rude, unlike India's customer-friendly approach. Overall, the trip broadened our perspectives on global industries, social etiquette, and independence, making it a truly enriching experience.
