JSS College of Arts, Science and Commerce was established in 1967 with B.Sc programme. It was a co-education institution till it was converted into Women’s College in the year 2000. It is a multi faculty, Grant in Aid College, Affiliated to the University of Mysore, Recognized by UGC under 2(F) and 12(B) by the Govt of Karnataka. In the third cycle (2017) NAAC assessment the College has been Re-Accredited “A” Grade with CGPA 3.02, Proposal has been submitted to NIRF for annual grading of College.
