I pursued my studies at the School of Behavioral Sciences, Kannur University, as part of the 2026 batch. To be completely transparent, if you're someone looking for hands-on clinical training in psychology, this may not be the ideal place for you. The program is primarily research-oriented, with more emphasis on academic and theoretical learning rather than practical exposure or applied clinical skills.If you are deeply interested in research, academic writing, and theory-based learning, then this syllabus will suit you well. The structure supports developing a strong foundation for becoming a future academician or researcher in the field of psychology. But if your goal is to become a practicing psychologist with real-world therapeutic skills, the program might feel lacking in experiential opportunities.The faculty and department were supportive and knowledgeable, and I truly appreciated the effort they put into delivering the course content. However, the overall university infrastructure and administration fall short in comparison — functional, but not excellent. It’s fair to say that the department is good, but the university experience is just okay-ish.

By taking Taliparambu bus from kannapuram Railway station we can reach the university.Kannur railway station is in 16 km distance.To reach University,We can take bus up to Darmashala and by Taking an Auto or a bus to Cherukunn thara.
