One of the best research institution of basic Sciences in India. A beautiful, large (300 acres) lush green campus with all facilities within the campus. Separate hostels for undergraduate, postgraduate and research scholars with OK facilities cleaned regularly. It would be better if the hostels will be maintained (repairing work, colouring inside and outside,etc) regularly. Faculties and staff are very helpful. The best part is the high class laboratories and an amazing library.

NISER is a top institute also a prominent reasearch centre in the country. I was there to attend a seminar and very much amazed to see such a beautiful institute in odisha. Huge campus and world class infrastructure. Although far from capital bbsr the campus is a lush green campus and well connected to the road. It has literally everything. Whole institute premises is very neat and clean. Well maintained auditorium and library.. Laboratories are well equipped with wide range of equipments used for every field in science. Also Very much impressed with the cafeteria and the food served to us was very good. Teachers and demonstrators are well informed. Staffs are cooperative. Overall very good experience visiting this place ..

NISER is one of the best institutes in the country for quality scientific research. It has indeed brilliant architecture offering lot of world class facilities to students for getting hands-on training on various techniques and technologies. Apart from that, hostels are really good and clean with different hostels for PhD and graduation students. There are two eating mess in the whole campus which are also located in boys hostels, offering both veg and nonveg meals all the time. There is also a shopping complex in the campus where you can get almost all the basic amenities you need. The only problem is that the campus is little far from the main city so it takes almost 40-45 minutes to reach there by the campus bus and if you miss that, getting cab all the time is not possible and even if you get it, that will be a little expensive.
