Established with the permission from the University of Calcutta, the college has been playing a pivotal role in imparting quality education since its inception. The college is located at the heart of Nagaon district. Now it is one of the best autonomous college in the state.
One of the best colleges in Assam. As an alumnus, I can proudly reflect my years spent at this wonderful shrine of knowledge. The campus is big, clean, and equipped with modern facilities. The faculties are great, especially the department of English. Our college regularly produces a high number of students that move on to pursue higher education at various universities in Assam and abroad.
