Periyar University campus has one of the finest environment background. Architectural and Infra part is nice. A separate departments for all disciplinarians including sports section. Though It is accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade and awarded a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.15 points it is clearly noted that the administration staffs and education quality of the university is very much lagging behind which needs to be upgraded to maintain the standards.

Had a bitter experience with this university..The DDE staff attitude is not at all acceptable very arrogant reply to students. As i understand this is a government University and one of the reputed universities in Tamilnadu i didn't expect that kind of behaviour from the staff.
