As mentioned in RGUKT's caption "Catering to the educational needs of gifted rural youth of Andhra Pradesh", this is one of the high tech, govt funded and managed universities for providing free education in Andhra Pradesh. It offers 6 years integrated dual degree courses in various streams of engineering. This is the only university which introduced "learning by doing" process in education system where the rest of universities still following traditional teaching methodologies. As a graduate from the same university, personally I find that particular teaching methodology was really helpful in the growth of my professional career. Like any other top universities/colleges in India, the students here have more freedom to learn and grow in their career. It's been more than 10 years this University has been established, you can see it's alumni working in almost all public and private organisations in India and outside. Because of funds allocated and spent on this university, it's been in the limelight of media several times. Overall this is a good technical university with variety of courses.
