Ram Lakhan college is the best for those students who belong to remote areas. But in my opinion this college has beautiful premises and healthy environment. I know it has not very good infrastructure facilities but teachers and students are apart from that. I feel that teachers are like lotus flower and students are its roots.

College is although nice, teachers are friendly and kind. But some of the class rooms are so small but they have a big campus. You can get degree of Inter, Graduation, PG etc. They aslo organise some extra activities like singing, dancing, Rangoli, mahendi and some sports. There also NCC .

Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College, Kokar – Decent Educational Institution with Room for Improvement I recently had the opportunity to attend Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College in Kokar, Ranchi, and I would say it’s a decent institution with a lot of potential. The college provides a good foundation for students who are looking for affordable education, especially in the fields of arts, commerce, and science. However, there are certain areas where improvements could make a big difference in the overall student experience. Academics: The college offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and the curriculum is aligned with Ranchi University. The faculty members, for the most part, are knowledgeable, and some really go the extra mile to support their students. However, the quality of teaching can be inconsistent across departments. Some professors are excellent and deeply engaged, while others could improve in terms of interaction and teaching methodology. That said, for students who are self-driven, the academic structure here provides a decent base. Infrastructure: One of the college’s strengths is its convenient location in Kokar, making it accessible to many students in the area. The infrastructure, however, is a bit outdated. The classrooms and labs are functional, but they could certainly use an upgrade. The library is small and lacks an extensive collection of updated books, which can make it difficult for students to access the resources they need. The science labs are basic but serviceable, though more modern equipment would help enhance the practical learning experience for science students. Overall, the infrastructure serves its purpose, but there’s room for improvement. Extracurricular Activities: The college does offer some opportunities for extracurricular activities, such as sports and cultural events, but these are somewhat limited. There is potential for students to get involved in activities outside the classroom, but the facilities for sports and other activities could be improved. The college would benefit from a more structured approach to extracurriculars, perhaps by forming student-led clubs or organizing regular inter-college competitions. Still, students who are proactive can find ways to engage, particularly in sports, as the college has had some success in local events. Ambiance and Student Life: The student environment at Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College is friendly and inclusive. You’ll find students from various backgrounds, which creates a diverse and welcoming atmosphere. However, the campus itself could use more engagement opportunities, such as student clubs or forums where students can collaborate and develop their skills beyond academics. Despite this, the college is still a good place for students looking for an environment where they can focus on their studies without many distractions. Service and Administration: One area where the college could improve significantly is its administrative services. Like many public institutions, there can be a lot of bureaucratic delays, especially when it comes to things like admissions, exams, and getting certificates. The administration is functional but often slow, and more transparency and faster service would make life easier for students. Additionally, adopting more digital processes for these services would streamline things considerably, reducing the need for students to deal with long queues and paperwork. Affordability: One of the best things about Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College is that it’s affordable, making it accessible for students from a wide range of financial backgrounds. For the low fees they charge, the college provides decent education, and this is particularly beneficial for students who may not be able to afford more expensive institutions. You get a fair education for the price, and this affordability is one of the main reasons many students choose this college. Career Prospects: The college provides basic placement support, although
