Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute is deemed university with campus spreading in Ranchi, Coimbatore, Narendrapur and Belur headquarter. This review is for the Belur campus only. This institute has already received the status of Heritage University by Government of India. The administration is solely monastic members of Belur Math. Apart from the traditional subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Sanskrit; the university runs courses on Spritual Heritage, Data Science, Yoga and Sports Science. The Institute was formerly known as Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University. In recent NAAC assessment the institute has received second highest marks among research institutes all over India. It shows the quality of education. Most of the faculties are monastic members. Also they appoint highly reputed retired or senior faculties from institutes like ISI, TIFR etc. The campus is breathtakingly beautiful. This must be one of the most pleasing educational institute campuses all over India. I keep visiting the campus for various academic works. The attached photographs all shot by me. If you are planning to visit Belur Math, I would suggest to take a glimpse of this campus also.
Went to Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandir to attend a DBT Workshop on Spectroscopic techniques and XRD. Extremely good reception. The lunch was special. The Professors and students of Chemistry department were really patient and helpful. The college is beautiful and so disciplined!
