Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, is widely recognized as a pivotal institution for medical and paramedical education in Northeast India, situated in Imphal West, Manipur. Established on September 14, 1972, RIMS began its journey as a Regional Medical College and has since evolved into an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. RIMS offers a diverse array of academic programs across 26 departments, encompassing undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-specialty courses.
