The SDM Medical College Hostel situated in the college campus consists of well-designed blocks, which house the Boys’ and Girls’ separately. Each hostel has three floors including a combination of twin sharing & triple sharing rooms with toilets. Each room has been provided with wardrobes, wooden cots, computer tables, book shelves, and chairs for the inmates. Common room with Television and Newspapers and common Gymnasium are provided in each block. Guest room facilities are provided for visiting parents & relatives for short stay. There are 5 hostels in the campus, with fees differing for each. The hostel fees is approximately Rs 26000/- per annum. Food served on the campus is exclusively vegetarian, with 2 mess in the campus and mess fees differing too, approximately Rs. 4000/- per month.

Nice hospital at an affordable price. It's located in hubballi dharwad highway. Nice maintenance. Big campus. It has Good canteen. Pharmacy available in the hospital is also good and they provide 12% discount of medicine MRP. Sometimes there is very rush so need to visit morning only. My recent experience at SDM Medical College Hospital, Dharwad, was deeply disappointing. It felt less like a healthcare center and more like a business focused on extracting money from patients. They billed us ₹9,072 for a catheterisation set, which is shockingly overpriced We did not opt for hospital food due to its poor quality, yet we were still billed for it.
