S. K. I. M. S Kashmir's number one state medical institute. Provides almost all the medical facilities. It has nearly no fee for O. P. D checkups. Majority of the doctors are specialists. The fee for laboratory tests is also minimal. It has valley's biggest cancer Institute, State Cancer Institute, SCI, which is the biggest achievement of this place. But one thing is there that the staff requirements according to the Institute are not satisfied. Still it's doing a very good job in the entire valley. Their work is really admired. 👍

Infrastructure is great but with the numbers of patient the infrastructure and the staff is less which cause delay in treatments and long stay of patients to nearby house and hotel. Jk government need to add 2 more skims like institutions for timely and hassle free treatments to its residents and periphery state and ut people..
