Its in the top of a mountain yeahh. The academic of Guwahati medical college is here plus its the main centre governing the medical colleges of Assam like Gmc, Amc,tmc etc. Para medical courses are also offered here. Its the best college in Assam for medical lines
this place is surely shaping the medical future of assam. here under ssuhs MBBS, MD, B. PHARM among other courses are provided by the government. On the second floor the SSUHS head office is present and rest of the building hosts classrooms and laboratories for MBBS, PG classes and further researches. department of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, histology are among the departments of studies present here. admission here is based on Competitive examinations. and the best part about the place is its location in the beautiful hills. you can get a stunning view of the guwahati city from there.
Currently best government medical college available in NE region Many times exam are delayed and results too which is disappointing for medical university Anyways
