Student Reviews & Testimonials
A talented fashionable womens world❤️ with lots of programs & good learning ambiance
Best women's College in Ernakulam. I did my graduation here. I had the best college life. Amazing infrastructure and facilities. The canteen and other food spots in college are soo hygienic. Good management and NAAC A+++ Certified College. Staffs in Commerce department (SF) are soo friendly and efficient. The fees are little high but the standard and quality are incompatible. Won the Youth festival 2023-24. " Fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom"
St Teresa's College Autonomous is an amazing college located in Ernakulam. Once we go to that place we can feel the Teresian vibe out there. There are mainly 3 blocks: Arts , Science, Central blocks. A lot of courses are available there. Campus Life is amazing. Hostel facilities and parking facilities are available. There are also canteens. Once a Teresian always a Teresian. Must visit.
As a second-year student who has already invested over ₹4 lakhs in my education here, I expected a certain standard of basic amenities and a supportive academic environment. Unfortunately, the experience so far has been disappointing on several fronts. To begin with, even the most fundamental facilities such as handwash in washrooms are not consistently provided, which raises serious concerns about hygiene and basic infrastructure. NUMEROUS ELEVATORS that are made for students to utilise are always left off except one for personal electricity saving purposes while students have to use stairs even after paying fees for all the amenities. This is not acceptable in any educational institution, let alone one where students have made such significant financial commitments. Moreover, there are troubling instances of discriminatory practices related to dress codes. It is disheartening to witness that students with curvier or fuller body types are frequently singled out or judged for wearing modern clothing, while leaner students wearing the same outfits do not face such scrutiny. For example, students have been told to wear scarves in staff areas based solely on their body type, which is both unfair and deeply inappropriate. These actions promote body shaming and contribute to a hostile environment for students who already face societal pressures. We are often told that we can raise our concerns with the faculty, but more often than not, we are met with the response that “it’s a faculty decision” and that nothing can be done. This cycle of deflection, where the blame is passed around with no real resolution, is both frustrating and demoralizing. I want to emphasize that I hold respect for the teachers and their efforts in delivering academic instruction. However, the policies and attitudes surrounding student welfare and inclusivity need serious re-evaluation. Rules and expectations should be consistent and fair—regardless of a student’s body type. Discrimination, subtle or overt, has no place in an educational setting. To future students and parents reviewing this: Please consider this experience as part of your decision-making process. Education should empower, not marginalize. Constructive change is only possible when feedback is acknowledged and acted upon. Thank you.
