Further, their family income must be less than Rs. 3 lakhs per annum to be eligible for this scholarship.
- Shodh Medha Scheme: This scheme is established to provide financial support to bright female PhD students pursuing higher education. The candidate must not be receiving any other financial assistance and should have a maximum family income of Rs. 3 lakh per annum. The scholarship will be valid for the first year and can be extended to two years upon the committee’s yearly review.
- Karmyogi Scheme: Under this scheme, students are encouraged to take part-time jobs in the university campus to support their education. Positions are available in Laboratories, Library, Office, Computer Centre, Hostel/Mess, Assistance to Teachers and Day Care Centre. Maximum work hours are 2 hours per day with pay scale of Rs. 150/hour. No student will be offered financial assistance of more than Rs. 15,000.
