Mumbai University Entrance Exam 2026

Mumbai University admissions to professional courses are based on entrance exam scores conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell and national-level bodies. In 2026, the Maharashtra CET Cell introduced a significant change: MHT-CET is now being conducted twice annually, giving students two attempts to improve their scores. Furthermore, students applying for engineering, law, management, pharmacy, and computer applications must clear respective entrance exams before applying for admission.

Students appearing for national-level exams like JEE Main, GATE, and NATA can also use their scores for Mumbai University admissions. Additionally, for PG management programmes, scores from CAT, MAT, XAT, and CMAT are also accepted alongside MAH MBA CET.
