Lack of infrastructure ,since it is an old college. But now renovation is going on. Students get lot of freedom here. Classes will be not more than 4 hrs . Have many clubs to improve their skills . More than 80% students will get placed. It has beautiful environment . One can be isolated from Bangalore.

Top bad engineering college in Bengaluru I am graduating student in this college this year; as a student of eee department there is no quality of learning in this college they will make us (students) everyday to work by lifting benches ,cleaning, washing🤬 if u want to join this college then think u r joker after knowing this matter ;the office workers lectures are enjoying everyday putting tension on student i surely recommend students not to join eee ,ece , mechanical, civil branch here just u will get degree certificate and waste of money and time waste placement is very bad from last 3--4 years by luck i joined eee department if i have joined mechanical dept I was not getting placed😭

An institution is dead when it stops taking in PhD students, thus putting an end to research programs. This is the just tip of iceberg, UVCE has huge problems when it comes to administration, syllabus, campus infra and so much more. Apathetic staff who force students run from pillar to pillar to get any work done. Students are the ones getting work done - when it comes to duties like admission process for juniors or invigilation. The only good thing was placements - and it is going downhill now. Ignore the relatively lower fees - saving that money is not worth all the trouble the college gives until the moment you receive degree certificate (got mine 1.5 years after graduation). Would never recommend this college to anyone.
