It is a university of infrastructural and academic excellence. It has beautiful nature friendly campus. So many trees and shrubs can be seen inside the campus; but grass cannot be seen and any thoughtful person like me would wonder why. Well, there are number of buildings built together to form one unit. Each building has a name, especially of famous personalities like APJ Abdul Kalam, S Radhakrishnan, MGR, CV Raman, Ratan Tata and so on. Overall, the interior of the campus is nice. However, outside the campus, the streets, shops and other buildings are of low standard and underdeveloped.

As a proud alumni from the class of 2018, I have to say that Vels has truly been one of the best universities in Chennai. It offers a whole package—great education, a wide range of activities, and sports opportunities. The management has always been incredibly supportive of us students. Plus, they've got all the facilities you could ever need right here on campus. Chairman has been a great motivator for the students ever since.

Infrastructure of the campus is spacious and good. Faculties are very friendly and knowledgeable. The university also maintains covid protocols to ensure the safety of the students. College fees was reasonable. At first , I was so skeptical about joining this college but now i've no regrets in my decision.
