Students are generally granted the scholarship with the highest deduction if eligible under multiple categories.

Merit-based Scholarship (Xavier Institute of Management)	Top scoring students from each batch in every department. Continuation of the award beyond the concerned semester depends on the candidate’s good academic performance in continuing semesters within the course.	Up to 50% reduction in college tuition fees.	Selection is made by the Scholarship Committee, with the final decision lying solely with the Vice-Chancellor based on the committee's recommendation.
Xavier’s Merit Scholarship (St. Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering)	Students who have passed in +2. Awarded based on marks in SXMSE with the addition of +2 marks. Eligibility tiers are: Score above 95, Score above 90, Score above 85.	Score above 95: Full tuition fee waiver worth ₹87000/-. Score above 90: Scholarship worth ₹75000/-. Score above 85: Scholarship worth ₹60000/-.	Awarded based on marks in SXMSE with the addition of +2 marks.
