As a student in the department of English I'm fully satisfied with the department. Teachers are amazing. I'm disappointed with the overall infrastructure of the university, really need improvement many factors. By the way campus in indeed very large and beautiful. Also construction works for the betterment of overall infrastructure is going on. I future students may enjoy really good facilities....

The university is remote for the rest of Assam, but for the people of Barak Valley it's a source of education, livelihood, money and what not. The institute has resulted in blooming of the economy nearby.The teachers are generous and cooperative. They understand the hardships students undergo and the decisions mostly favour them.Has an ambient environment for studying. Admissions usually takes place through national examinations. University level entrance examinations for admission are for a handful of courses only.

Assam University is a beautiful campus surrounded by lush greenery, providing a peaceful environment for learning. The faculty is knowledgeable, and the academic programs are well-structured. The library and research facilities are commendable, though infrastructure maintenance could be improved. Public transport connectivity is also good, overall, it's a great place for higher education in the Northeast.

Teachers are really experienced and knowledgeable. Teachers and placement cell work very hard to provide you good placements. 👍💯3. Are you having a bad day? .... Don't worry there are many places inside the university where you can just enjoy and forget the worries. For instance, Botanical park, Soccer ground near engineering department, etc.☮️🍃4. Gymnasium, NCC, other facilities, cultural programs are very well provided. 👌5. Very safe for students as the security guards are well trained.6. Ever visited fine arts department? 🎨...do visit 👌7. Far from the din and bustle of the town, the campus is situated amidst greenery and natural serenity. The campus is clean and is well-maintained. The campus also houses a number of natural resources in terms of unique flora and fauna.

A beautiful place that I visited multiple times during my MBBS days at Silchar Medical College, as my friends were studying here. However, it’s disappointing that the security guards at the university gate don’t allow visitors to enter with bikes. They insist on calling friends to meet outside instead. Who made such a rule that prevents us from meeting our friends inside the university? I’ve visited several universities but have never faced such inconvenience.
