College of Community Science, Dharwad, formerly College of Rural Home Science, is a public institution contributing significantly to home and community science education in North Karnataka. Established in 1974, it operates as a constituent college of the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, with a curriculum evolving to meet modern agricultural and rural industry demands. The college provides diverse academic programs: undergraduate (B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science, B.Tech. (Food Technology)), postgraduate (M.Sc., M.Tech. in Food Science and Nutrition, Family Resource Management, Textile and Apparel Designing, Human Development and Family Studies, Extension and Communication Management), and doctoral degrees for advanced research.
