Daulat Ram College, established in 1960 by Shri Daulat Ram Gupta, stands as a prominent women's college affiliated with the University of Delhi. Located in the heart of North Campus, it holds an 'A' grade accreditation from NAAC and was ranked 72nd in the NIRF 2024 Colleges category. The college offers a wide array of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across 18 departments in Arts, Science, and Commerce, with popular programs like BSc and BA. Admission to these programs is primarily based on the CUET scores. The college campus, spread over 13 acres, provides a conducive environment for learning and holistic development. Infrastructure includes a well-stocked, air-conditioned and computerized library with a Braille section, modern science and computer labs, a spacious auditorium (Sadbhavna Bhawan) with a capacity of 1400, and an open-air amphitheatre (Rangshala). Hostel facilities are available for undergraduate women students, equipped with amenities like air-conditioned rooms and Wi-Fi. The campus also features extensive sports facilities, a medical centre, a cafeteria, and a bank with ATM. Daulat Ram College focuses on the overall development of its students, fostering a vibrant campus life through various societies and extracurricular activities. With a total of 4703 enrolled students and 166 faculty members, the college maintains an environment supportive of academic and personal growth. The placement cell, Vriddhi, actively assists students. According to the 2024 placement data, the highest package offered was INR 23.05 LPA, with an average package of INR 6.47 LPA. Over 80 students received job offers from more than 40 participating companies, including top recruiters like Accenture, Deloitte, and KPMG.
