The place provides hospital and teaching facility. Is one of the oldest Ayurvedic hospital and has an history of 108 years. Its old name is Vaidyaratnam gundlu pandita lakshmanacharya Ayurveda paatashaala. The treatment is completely free with highly qualified doctors and proper care. But when coming to teaching even though it doesn't have proper teaching faculty and labs it stands as one of the top colleges in karnataka
