It is nodal college of Rewa district and offers 11 courses in UG and 7 courses in PG level. It is also a research centre of Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Botany, Zoology Mathematics and Statistics. Recently, Higher Education Govt. of M.P. has given the status of lead college of the region.

The atmosphere of this college is very quiet. Ragging is no longer in this college. Equipment is not available in the required quantity for use by the students in this college. The computers in the lab are very old and not in very good condition. Some computers are in good condition. The college building is also very dilapidated. The condition of the rooms is also very bad. The table and chair are also not in good condition for students to sit. Studying in college is not too bad nor is it good enough. From the point of view of studies, this college is not too bad. However, the manufacturing work is going on in the college, so we can expect a slight improvement in the condition of the college.
