I had studied 1 year in this college just because i couldn’t get admission in main campus….however i had many expectations from this campus but all went in vain….the campus is so small and there is no hostel for boys so we had no other choice to shift to a pg….moreover theres no canteen…it was closed for half a year……the teachers and faculty are unprofessional….they are just focused on covering up syllabus whether something gets in your mind or not….so i highly recommend migrating to main campus if incase you dont get seat there

They deliberately give compartments to leech out fees from students . Too much focus on cramming. Although infrastructure is fine.Too much irresponsibility by clerical deptt as they failed to provide my final DMC and Degree on time as they forgot to post it.You have to pay money for getting your own degree and DMC .I couldn't fill many job applications because of that.

Gndu jalandhar campus is having a fame only in newspapers but in reality there is nothing, i have done ba.Llb(hons) there is no practical teaching,no placements. Teachers are just focusing on completing the syallbus after every 1 mnth we r supposed to give exams there is no time to grasp any practical knowledge in field of law,their teaching method is syallabus is in your hand techers will give u dictation nd on the other hand u hve to go for books nd study by urself, no exposure at all.Attendence issue is there .On the other hand, there is no canteen earlier it was there but from 2 yrs canteen is closed.secondly hostel is worst,u hve to please at every moment to repair fans or tubelight if needed.warden simply reply this is official work it will take time ..even fans are not working properly,cooler facility is not available .most of the universities provide option for the student to bring cooler with nd they r supposed to pay the bill personally for the cooler but ..no such provision at gndu.There are no law conselling competions or moot courts.students manage themselves at their own cost.

Fulfilling the demands of people of Doaba region for quality education, Guru Nanak Dev University established its Regional campus at Jalandhar in 1979 with English, Punjabi and Law departments. Later, department of Journalism was added in the year 1995. To meet the demands in technical education and research, the campus got its own sprawling and beautiful campus with the addition of three prestigious professional courses i.e. Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics &Communication Engineering and School of Legal studies in 2002. Since inception, all these departments have been imparting quality education with main aim to produce indispensable and employable manpower.The university had been the first one in the North India to start B.A., LL.B. (Honours) Five-Year integrated course after 10+2 at this Campus. This course has adopted the clinical methodology at the pattern of National University GATE 23 Law school. Research based education is an integral part of quality education which narrows down the gap between industry and academia. Keeping this objective in view Post graduate (M.Phil, M.A, L.L.M, MJMC) and Doctorate level (PhD) courses are also offered in this campus. Recently, M.Tech course has been added both in ECE and CSE disciplines by Engineering Department.The campus is fully equipped with modern infrastructure catering to the needs of its students. State of the Art computing and networking facilities are provided to teachers and students. A vast library with a pool of around 30000 books, journals is also provided at dispense of students. An information center functioning from the Regional Campus provide services of distribution, collection and attestation, migration and other admission related information to the students of entire Doaba region. The center is very well entertaining the queries in relation to university affairs.The other amenities include Girls’ hostel facility to accommodate more than 300 girl students with modern facilities of Internet, PCO, Photostat, Canteen, Stationary shop, Reading room and Indoor games. Round the clock medical service is also available to the hostlers. Other amenities available in the Campus include canteen, bank, bus service, a residential complex of 6 flats with a facility of guest house

They have a very biased system of counseling and very unprofessional staffIt's a complete waste of time and money to attend the counseling there

The Campus is located on the Jalandhar-Amritsar Highway about 3 kms from the PAP Chowk. Decent building structure. Non a.c. Rooms for students. Very much smaller than main campus of university. Law, b.tech such streams avaliable here.
