A decent campus, but away from main Shimla town, on Summer Hill. Great green location, though much smaller than the other state universities of UP and Rajasthan. The faculty are cooperative, helpful and campus is vibrant.

It is very expensive place. The shopkeepers also charges money to charge your phone. The food is also very costly. Full plate rice costs Rupees 80 which you can get at just Rs. 50 if you move some far from this place ( e.g summer hill)
