Established in 1980 under the Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society, it holds the distinction of being among the first in the state to offer both Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and Doctor of Medicine in Homoeopathy (MD Hom) degree courses. The college is formally affiliated with the esteemed Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, and recognized by the National Commission for Homoeopathy, New Delhi, ensuring its programs adhere to national standards. Academic excellence is a hallmark, with a comprehensive curriculum covering foundational and advanced subjects in homoeopathy. The institution offers a Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) with a significant intake, alongside five specialized postgraduate MD Homoeopathy programs including Materia Medica, Organon of Medicine, Repertory, Practice of Medicine, and Paediatrics. Admission to these programs is primarily through national-level entrance examinations such as NEET UG for undergraduate courses and AIAPGET for postgraduate studies. Spread across an expansive 11-acre campus, the college provides a conducive learning environment. It is well-equipped with essential infrastructure, including a 75-bed hospital that offers practical training opportunities for students across various departments like Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The campus also features a well-stocked library, separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, and modern laboratories, ensuring a holistic student experience.
