iist trivandram is a special place where we learn and grow. It is not just a building with classrooms; it is where we make friends, create memories, and discover new things. My school is a place where Ilearn about the world around me. It helps me understand how to read, write, and think in a better way. I also learn how to solve problems and be creative. Most importantly, my school helps me find confidence and be myself.... And its was a good campus with many beautiful places. I came here form a workship

51 acres Beautiful campus , full of greenery, Far from city, Less students, best for academics and research though less opportunities for sports and extracurricular. Nice hostels, hygienic mess with avg taste for both south Indian and north indian food. Gym ,badminton, squash, tt, volleyball and basketball courts are available inside the campus. For cricket and football you have to walk around 1.5kms outside of the campus. All in all IIST is India's best institute for reseachers and space lovers.

Only Institute in Asia for Space Science and Technology. Directly under Department of Space. An esteemed institution wherein the BTech graduates are directly recruited to ISRO. Highly secured Campus with Min extra Facilities but with enough academic and research possibilities. Offers courses of BTech, MTech and PhD for 7 branches including Aerospace, Avionics, Earth Science etc.

Great place. IIST is an autonomous institute under Department of Space, Govt. of India. IIST is situated at Valiamala, Thiruvananthapuram on the way to the famous Ponmudi Hills. One can take buses or auto or taxis from Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway station to reach IIST campus. If one availing bus service to reach IIST, then he/she has to get down at ISRO junction bus stoppage.

Amazing place, located in a place of greenery and peace, it's the best location for a space science and technology institute. Security is a bit strict, the small campus is beautiful and the people over there are so helpful and welcoming. I have spent some time here for a summer school. Really liked the place and people.

IIST is focused on producing manpower and technologies for space applications. For those who are looking a career in ISRO or such organisations, IIST is a good option.Campus is too small but beautiful. It is located 30 KM away from Thiruvananthapuram. Only one store is there inside the campus for food and stationery. Though many shops and other facilities are in reach within a 10 km.I would have recommended IIST before because of direct intake to ISRO and reasonable fee structure. But from this year IIST increased fees similar to IITs and stopped taking students to ISRO directly. Hence, there is no reason to opt IIST over other national institutes now.
