I did my B.Tech from NIT Srinagar, and it was a truly memorable journey. The campus is beautifully located near Dal Lake and surrounded by mountains, offering a peaceful environment for learning. The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, and the academic curriculum is solid.Hostel life and campus experiences taught me a lot beyond textbooks. Despite the occasional challenges due to weather, the growth, friendships, and memories I gained here were invaluable.Overall, NIT Srinagar provides a great environment for technical education and personal development. Proud to be an alumnus!

The bestest engineering college in North India.Good faculty, Good guidance, excellent experience.I'm very glad as student of this institution.Best branch is COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND CIVIL ENGINEERING..Huge campus area more than 100 Acres....In the back side there is great view of the dal Lake and mountains⛰️⛰️⛰️🏔️🏔️

National Institute of Technology, Srinagar is one of the premier Educational Institutes in the Northern Regions of the country. It was established in 1960 and has been one of the eighteen Regional Engineering Colleges sponsored by the Govt. of India during the 2nd Plan.The Institute is situated at the the banks of world-famous Dal Lake, with the far-famed Hazratbal Shrine on other side of the campus. NIT Srinagar is a residential Institute with accommodation facility in Hostels and Staff-Quarters.

One of the oldest Engineering colleges in india, established in 1960's among the other 6 regional engineering colleges. Literally it's the oldest. Nothing changed or added to it for decades. Those newly formed and sibling REC's marched way ahead, but this remained as it is. Thanks to MHRD for funding and the attention recently , to uplift the quality of education and infrastructure. The main challenge of this college is the unpredictable conditions in the valley, that adversely affect the smooth functioning of classes. It remained close for 4 months in 2016 and 2 months in 2019. So honestly here you study apocalyptic survival course rather than mere engineering. Despite its flaws, it has a invisible attractive force towards its unparalleled campus beauty. Language, culture, partiality.. whatever maybe the hurdles but the years you stay here would be truly memorable.

Once I have a dream to entre in NIT SRI at once and now I'm here.The one thing that I found here, is the cooperation of staff from gate to the academic section, melt my heart towards these noble person.

NIT SRINAGAR is one of the most beautiful colleges across India for graduation and post graduation courses. It is situated amidst mountains which create a great ambience for studying as well as gives us space for self realization. It is one of the premier institutes for B.Tech.The bar is pushed each year with the new records set for placements.The mess food is not upto the mark like every mess anywhere.There are canteens which provide every kind of food but the rates are a bit too high for students.There are nice hostels named after the rivers for the students such as INDUS, CHENAB,TAWI,JHELUM,etc for boys and two hostels for girls.But there are more hostels under construction. Apart from academics extra curricular activities are given much importance. Various clubs are set up for students such as the dance club,singing club,coding clubs,etc.The college has also won many accolades in the INTER NIT Athletics,securing many medals. There are places nearby for outings such as Pahalgam,Gulmarg, Sonmarg and the serene Leh and Ladaakh. Students go for road trips to these locations which are a pleasure to the soul as they are extremely beautiful and mezmerising. The eye soothing views with natural beauty are captivating.So, if you are going for UG and PG courses NIT SRINAGAR won't disappoint you.
