North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Folk Medicine Research (NEIAFMR) is widely recognized for its unique focus on integrating traditional healthcare systems. While the primary academic offering is the BAMS program, NEIAFMR also functions as an apex research center for Local Health Traditions and Ethno-Medical Practices, aiming to validate and potentially integrate them into mainstream healthcare.
