Very beautiful coral island. Moola beach is awesome. White sand and blue water but no proper hotel and restaurants because no tourism exists here

AndrottThe Andrott Island is the largest island with an area of 4.90 sq km, length of 4.66 km and a maximum width of 1.43 km. It lies in the east-west direction, between 10° 48′ and 10° 50′ N latitude and 73° 38′ and 73° 42′ E longitude. It is 119 km (64 nautical miles) away from Kavaratti and 293 km (158 nautical miles) away from Kochi. It is the only island having a very small lagoon area .Andrott is the nearest island to the mainland and has an east-west orientation unlike other islands lying in the north-south direction.It is the Largest island in the Lakshadweep.Thick vegetation mainly coconut groves ,add to the beauty of the island.It was the first island to embrace ISLAM . Andrott or Androth Island, is the largest island in all of Lakshadweep. Not only that; densely populated Andrott Island , stands apart from all the other islands also due to the fact that it is the only island standing with a west-east orientation. It is not a tourist destination with packages as of now, due to lack of infrastructure facilities, which has been taken into consideration.Andrott Island has a lighthouse that is very famous and it also houses the tomb of Saint Ubaidullah at the Jumaat mosque; another important place in Andrott is ruins of Buddhist site. He is said to have brought the Islam culture here. Since there are thick coconut groves, the island flourishes with Andretti Island. If we are lucky enough and of course patient enough we can get the glimpse of octopus which comes in neap tides.

Nice place to visit in winter vacation it's a one of the Iceland in Lakshadweep Dev union territory full of coconut trees white sand beach crystal clear water full of lovely it's a coral island if you want to visit u need a PCC and visiting permit from the Lakshadweep Lakshadweep tourism department
